The Grandview Heights Police Departments patrols the City of Grandview Heights and also provides police services to the Village of Marble Cliff, Ohio.

The City of Grandview Heights and Village of Marble Cliff are located in central Ohio, just west of the City of Columbus.

The Grandview Police has one full-time detective and two part-time detectives. Officer's may serve in Field Training Officer positions, D.A.R.E., School Resource Officer, Crash Investigation, Community Police Officer, and Datamaster Calibration Officer. There is also a bike patrol unit which rides year round.

Candidates must have at least two years of college education. Upon hire recruits will be sent to the Ohio State Patrol Basic Peace Officer Academy which is a live-in academy that takes about three months to complete.

Officers work ten hour shifts, four days a week, that are staggered in order to maintain twenty-four hour coverage of the streets. Officers bid on their shift every six months based on seniority. There is a reserve officer program. Officers regularly receive additional updated training from the Ohio Police Officers Training Academy.

Most officers are issued a Heckler & Koch USP 45, which is a forty-five caliber semi-automatic pistol, however a few officer have elected to keep their previously issued revolvers.

The department is currently working with the Ohio Criminal Justice Service to implement laptop computers in the cruisers utilizing OIBRS/LEOT software.
